SOUTH FORK CAMPGROUND IS CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. South Fork Campground was largely destroyed in 2023 from catastrophic landslides during a series of atmospheric river disaster events. The area remains hazardous due to the continued risk of landslides due to unstable slopes. These conditions are precluding the reestablishment of the campground in the foreseeable future.
