Sonora Bridge campground offers opportunity to get away from crowds amidst shade of Jeffrey Pines. Campground is close to fishing on West Walker River. The river is stocked with trout. Nearby picnic area, near Tule Lake, has accessible facilities.
Sonora Bridge Campground is a 23-site campground open late April to mid September. Located on the Wlest Walker River in a Jeffrey pine forest, this location provides peaceful rustic camping for fishermen and hikers on Sonora Pass between Bridgeport and Walker, Ca. Views encompass the high Sierra peaks that surround Sonora Pass. Scenic Leavitt Meadows is 4.5 miles west.
Facilities
This tent and RV friendly campground offers primitive single family campsites with picnic tables and campfire rings. Vault toilets and garbage service are provided. Firewood is available for purchase from the host.
The campground does not have potable water.
